Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been published previously and nor has it been offered to any other journal (or this fact has been explained in the Comments to the editor)
• The file submitted is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
• When possible, URLs are given for the references
• The text is single-spaced; font size 12; italics have been used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures and tables are positioned appropriately within the text, not at the end
• The text adheres to the bibliographical and stylistic criteria stipulated in the publication guidelines.
• The publication does not contain any marks that would reveal its authorship: none of the elements that might allow someone to identify the authors are included, whether it be their names, affiliation or others (such as acknowledgements, references to research projects, sources of financing, etc).
