Originality policy
When the authors submit an article to be considered for publication, they state the originality of the work as written by them and in their own words, except for quotations from published and unpublished sources that must be clearly indicated and acknowledged as such. This means that they are also conscious that the incorporation of material from other works or a paraphrase of such material without acknowledgement will be treated as plagiarism. The source of any image, map or other illustration must also be indicated, as is the source, published or unpublished, of any material not resulting from their own experimentation, observation or data-collecting.
REDEN uses tools for the detection of plagiarism and potential AI-generated content, among which Turnitin® and GPTZero. Cases of suspected plagiarism and AI-generated content will be examined and evaluated by the editorial board, who will act upon each case suggesting revision or rejecting depending on the gravity of the incidence.
