Abstract

Abstract

This article offers a route of comics exhibitions in museums and other artistic exhibition spaces in Colombia. Firstly, some pioneering cases in the 20th century are presented, and secondly, an overview of the growing presence of comics in Colombian museum institutions and other exhibition spaces in the 21st century is offered, particularly in the last five years. This route will allow us to identify some particularities of this phenomenon with the global context of the incursion of comics in museums and artistic spaces, as well as various strategies in a cultural environment such as Colombia, in which the comic finds other ways of visibility and dissemination.
