Mujeres y Madness: Deconstructing Chicana Teoria on Locura, Queerness, and Love

En "Mujeres y Madness: Deconstructing Chicana Teoria on Locura, Queerness, and Love", exploro las intersecciones de la chicanidad, el queer y la salud mental mientras navego por la locura como una “tipología en Borderlands”. Basándome en teóricas feministas chicanas queer, como Gloria Anzaldúa, Cherrie Moraga y Alicia Gaspar de Alba, explico la teoría de la locura dentro de la erudición chicana. Abrazando mi locura, mi trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo (TOC), y el viaje a través de la locura y la cordura, este ensayo traza mi Estado Coactlicue. Utilizando la literatura y los archivos de Anzaldúa como telón de fondo de mi salud mental, analizo la locura, la cordura y el amor dentro de la escritura de Anzaldúa y las entradas de mi diario durante la fase 2020-2021 de la pandemia COVID-19. A través de mi destrucción y reconstrucción mental, acepto el trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo como la locura y la bestia-sombra neurodivergente dentro de mi mente.
