Estudio crítico discursivo sobre la representation de las mujeres inmigrantes en una muestra de la prensa española: entre la victimización y la prostitución.

Este artículo analiza las principales características de la representación de las mujeres inmigrantes como actores sociales en una muestra de la prensa española. Los datos consisten en todas las noticias publicadas sobre mujeres inmigrantes en las ediciones digitales de los diarios españoles El País, ABC y El Mundo desde el 1 de enero de 2012 hasta el 1 de enero de 2022. La teoría de los actores sociales de Van Leeuwen (2008) mostrará cómo se representa a las mujeres inmigrantes lingüísticamente en el corpus examinando las principales categorías observadas en las noticias analizadas, es decir, asimilación, asignación de roles, identificación y funcionalización. Además, la lingüística de corpus (CL) será una poderosa herramienta complementaria al Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD) porque permite observar los principales patrones y colocaciones en el discurso. Los hallazgos indican que las mujeres son poco visibles en el corpus y que están asociadas principalmente a la prostitución y al trabajo precario. Así, su representación se asocia con la victimización y la vulnerabilidad.
